Window Tint

i'm getting my tint done for graduation but not sure on the percent, im stuck between 20% and 35%, anyone have pictures of the different options on montes? i dont want it to be super dark to draw too much attention.

I have a pic of my 35% on my front two windows and 15% on my back which is MO regulations http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/v...stroy/Car1.jpg

Talk to SpinEm_90 she has her monte with 35% i think lol

Jomao_o 06-13-2010 06:13 PM

This is 20% on the side
and 5% on the smaller pillar windows.
let me tell you i LOVE IT!

had it removed later because of an anal cop. 35% the legal limit here. :(

dont u hate that law? lol

lucian*91 06-13-2010 09:55 PM

mine is 20%, i like it because its more shaded in the car. and its still very easy to see out anyways. even at night. the law here is only a strip on tint 5 inches at the top of your window. nothing lower than that. its super stupid and looks really bad if you tint like that

5% in the back and 15% in the front and ive already got a ticket for the front one so im going to remove it and wait a little bit and go a little lighter maybe 35%. youd think with all the sun in california theyd atleast give you a number thats allowable in the front but nope anything in the front is illegal.

85% is allowed on the front windows in Cali, but that's pretty much like not having tint at all cause you can't even tell.

I think mine are 35%? not sure though, I usually drive with my windows down all the time, even if it is to hot out! I don't use the AC that much when driving!

mine are:
30% -door windows
15% - back 3 windows
15% - front windshield visor
Once the car isn't a daily driver I'm gonna do 15% on the front as well but it's too risky with the legal limit only being 35% or I may just say screw it & go 5% all around lol

yeah thats not even really worth doing thing is there are sooo many people who have tint its just on how unlucky you are if they stop you. and i guess i have crap luck. my tint guy told me hes had a few guys with monte carlos come back to him because they get stopped i guess its just the car that attracts the police. either way ill go a bit lighter and try my luck again after a month.
