What to use?
Ok guys I have a small little issue that is driving me nuts! I have a 06 Monte the car is in a word amazing! the problem is the wipers are craptacular.Well actually just the passengers side one. I have been to AZ ( Auto Zone ) to buy replacment wipers only to be told by captain obvious that first my wipers were old and needed to be replaced then that my windshield is bent. His parents are very proud I would guess. I ended up buying trinco exact fits , I had experianced the wipers not properly fitting on a camaro I had those worked on it . Not the Monte. The passengers side about the top fourth of it does not even touch the glass except on the top most part of the wipe/ swipe. I have checked it is not bent , broke , damaged . The thing just does not touch the glass. The wipers that were there when I bought it made full contact but I have no clue what they were and enstein couldnt find a match for them. Ok so IF you have read all of this here is my question what sort of wipers will actually work on the 06's ? What do you guys/gals use? How do they last?
Thanks!
Thanks!
So, do the RainX wipers actually retain full contact with the windshield throughout the entire wiper action? Does the end of the blade make contact with the windshield when it's in the parked position?
I'm talking about the outboard portion of the blade on the passenger side.
Common for those wipers to not flex enough for the windshield there. It's something I think we all have experienced lol.
You can actually still buy the stock wiper blades from a dealership. I believe they come out to be about $47 for the pair.

the plastic part that's over the fan motor, the wipers rest on that and it flattens out or molds to that area of the wiper blade.
i don't think any blade will fix that little 2" area that it doesn't wipe tho lol
