So my hood has alot of rock chips in it and my trunk lid has quite a few imperfections also. I just went to see about getting them both repainted and the guy at the shop had said they have been doing vinyl more often on cars and it may be easier and cheaper to wrap the hood and trunk in a vinyl. He could also do the roof too. All in any color or design I want. Now I guess my ? is I personally haven't seen that I know of any cars that use vinyl other than a complete car wrap. Would this be a good idea? Also would it look dumb being only partially wrapped instead of the whole vehicle?

 

I vinyl wrapped my ground effects. I think they look good.
