Do any members have tinted windshields on their monte's? If so could you post a pic along with the percentage its tinted.

 

not a whole lot do, its pretty dangerous and illegal

 

i think it's legal in florida (to a degree)

its pretty illegal but its been done. my buddy has an all black tbss and its all limo tint even the windshield and its doubled except the windshield thats single layered. its crazy dark, but if you have low friends in high places you can get away with anything.

 

I recall seeing a newer Impala with the windshield tinted pretty dark on an Impala forum. He said he doesn't have any problems seeing or with the local LEOs. Looks cool as all get out but sure does seem dangerous too, especially at night!

I still think it's too dangerous little kids + night time + side streets = dangerous situation. IMO

 

when i got my monty i got it tinted the tint guy tinted the winshield he thaught that i wanted it done. but i didnt because you will get a dual glare from the dash boared lights when you have the head lights on. what i mean the lights from the dash bounce from the window to the windshield if it is tinted you cant see who is walking to the right or the left let allone who is driving up to you on the left. i had them remove the tint and go with a lightest tint you can get with out light reflection. even though our cars come from the factory with the windows that tint automatically stock. be carefull if you do i live in florida and its legal to a sertan persenteg but i know it is illegal in vriginia thats where i use to live

 

I wanted to see what a tinted windshield looked like on a Monte. Im sure in every state its illegal and its dangerous to a certain degree. Im thinking when I move to the metro area of MN im going to get my windshield tinted to 35% nothing crazy but you know its there.

 

it looks sick, but its hard to see out of. i asked my friend why he didnt just get his windows painted black and call it a day.

 

wanted this done to my monte but was afraid of not being able to see at night.
