looks great! damnit i want to get mine tinted. but i've gotten pulled over twice already for not having a front plate, i can't afford to give the cops another reason to harass me

I dont know. IMO, i think you should paint them green like everything else. It might turn out to look like it was just pieced together and not finished.

Have any of you guys gotten stopped for having your tint too dark? I just got mine done 15% all around.

 

I had 35% on my fronts and only 70% is allowed in my state. I only lasted 3 weeks before I got a "fix it" ticket.

70% is hardly worth the effort.

 

I agree, not worth the money. 50 is the limit for the front and 35 in the back here. Hopefully I wont get stopped. What did you do, get it removed?

 

In ohio front windows 50% is the limit, and the rest can be as dark as you want. So I went with 22% so I could have some privacy for the back seat and it wouldn't be too dark at night.

 

if im not mistaken here in mn its 50 considering it mainly cuz the kid well ans ive always liked tinted windows

 

Here in Iowa basically any tint on the front windows is illegal and you can paint your back windows for all the cops care...make sense? I dont think so either. Im gettin mine 4% on the back 3 and I cant decide between 16 or 30% on the front...I think im ganna go with 30 having the rear 4 will really make that 30 look so much darker. My tint tech at work is ganna do my car for 80 bucks such a deal, eventually im doin the windshield to match the sides.

 

I know that in Ca, you can have the back windows painted also if you wanted too but nothing on the front doors. But if you have the back tinted, you have to have both side mirrors.

 

In IL it's illegal to have the front side windows tinted any %. The back and back side windows there is no limit.
