7th Gen ('06-'07): Swapping parts

Question Swapping parts

I have a few things im not sure about will tail lights off a 2005 monte fit a 2006 monte i know they are only a year apart but thats when the body changed kinda and how about the front and back bumper not sure if any one has tryed

I believe the wiring is a touch different between the years? You might have to splice.

But they will fit i dislike the 06 and 07 tail lights but i like the ones on the 6th gens how aobut the front and back bumper?

When people put the 06/07 lights on their 00-05 there was a SLIGHT gap in the bumper because the 6th gen lights are more bubbled. They should fit, but it might be snug.

Back bumper should fit no issues, front bumper won't because of the headlights

They'll fit - the guy I bought stock lights from (2007) had gotten 6th gen style LEDs to replace his stockers and he said they fit no problem. It's the rounding of the 6th gen bumper that makes the gap - the 7th gen is more squared off. It's only noticeable from the side.

I would trade you but one of mine has a crack in it gets water in it and i wanted to get after market ones for summer and when it snows put the stock ones on the 6th gen has some sweeter after market ones then the 7th gens

sorry to hijack, ive been thinking of doing this swap, if you change the headlights and hood and fenders will the front bumper fit?

yeah, it should fit, I'm not 100% sure if the headlights fit in the same slots though, I assume tho would tho.

Why would you want to go with that front end though? Looks less sporty and more like an Impala lol
