Default The stupid roof trim 2003 monte

I have a issue with the roof trim that covers the junction in the roof. it is a strip of aluminum? or something its flexible but I have taken it off and removed the old double sided tape twice now and still all of it does not stay down.

unless you all have a great trick for this it'll be a body shop that does it next.

No, I know what hes talking about...Yea, its like a rubber that is on the driver side, and passender side near the edge of the roof. I wish it was metal, On my 06, the paint on the rubber is starting to look kinda weird, and has some very small crakcs in it, that no one notices, but i do...

IDK what to tell you though inorder to stick it down...Silicone maybe???

try searching for roof rail installs, to see what people used in their roof rails which go in the spot.

try plastic epoxy. it come with 2 tubes that you have to mix together. normally once you peel them off it's hard to stick back on cause it's bendable and will not get back to it's original shape.

Well roof rails are out but the epoxy is a good plan, stock they are stuck down with double sided sticky tape and they respond to temperature. i.e. you cannot put them on and have the temperature the next day be 30 deg hotter.

Trying to stay stock but so many options are out.
