That's not that bad of a price... worth it. I knew it would be up there, especially if its the GM one. It's just a simple piece of plastic, so they gotta be profitable to manufacture. Maybe I should start whittling them out of wood

Those idiots are professionals at stuff like that. I ordered something for my Aurora, got the email confirmation and everything, then two days later, they decided to tell me it was out of stock. Avoid that site like the plague.

I got in touch with a 3D printer place. Here is their reply. My question how many would be worth getting produced???

Dear Greg,

Thanks for your message!

Do you only want to make one pc by 3D printing, or want to make a mold for lots production?
And if you have drawings, and more information, please send it to pansourcing####foxmail&&&&com

Many thanks and Best regards,
Patrick

You can get a quote, ask people for a group buy, make them give you money down, then have them made. I wouldn't hold a stock of anything, it's just not worth it for your personal out-of-pocket expenses.

I would be curious to see how much a 3d printed one-off would cost, more just to see what the capabilities of 3d printing is these days.

Has anyone on the forum used/ purchased 3d printed parts?

I've played around with 3D printers, but nothing of automotive quality plastics.
