It tapes on to the bumper. You'd need to remove the knights crest emblem, and probably paint behind the grille black.

 

Alright but how does the crest come off?

 

Mine came off with a screw driver

You can pry it off pretty easy but there's other way's if you don't want to damage anything

 

Alright and sorry if it was a stupid question. I just don't want to screw anything up in case someday I want to put the old one back one.

 

Heat it up with a blow drier, then maybe put some goo gone under it but keep t off most of the paint. Use floss or fishing line and saw around it. If not just heat it up and use a screwdriver.

 

If you get the SLP grille your probably going to want to paint behind it black so you can't really go back to the original crest without having the bumper repainted red. Something to think about, but a lot of people really like to SLP grille and plan to leave it on for good
