Got the grill on today! I didn't paint behind it because my car is already a dark color. You can't see the color unless you're looking for it so I'm happy. Also, I painted the lower grill black, instead of dropping another $70 on the lower grill insert. I used only two coats of Rustoleum gloss black, and it looks FANTASTIC. ALSO, I did some engine bay dress up lol. I painted the braces, and engine cover silver, then painted the 3800 Series II and V6 the same color as my car with some touch up paint. Then I put a MonteCarloForum.com decal on the cover. Pics will be up tomorrow. The only thing I need for the front end is a plate cover. To bad they're almost impossible to find! D:<

Thanks for all your support this far!
Tyler

Sorry I didn't get these up earlier, guys! I've been kindof busy. But here they are. I still have yet to paint the outer ring on the grille the same color as my car. Can't wait to get that done!

Also, anyone know of a plate filler for sale? I've been looking everyday and I still can't fine one! D:<

Thanks!

Ive been trying to get my hands on a plate filler also.Im going to use it as a template to make fiberglass ones. I beleive there may be a market for a cheap alternative.

Default 2006 grill

Ok. I just finished cleaning the Monte. Then with the Monte sitting next to the Chevelle. I wanted to see the difference sitting a foot apart. With the front ends facing the street. Then It hit me. I wanted the Chevy emblem off the grill. To make it look close the front end of the Chevelle. So I started to read a post on here about grill's. Damn if Tyler didn't have the same idea. But here the problem. Since I don't have a manual. How does the grill come off an 06 SS ?? I don't see that I can just take the bowtie off & replace it with the SS emblem. Any help ??? Thanks Rick
