Question Roof Rails on a 7th Generation?

Hi guys I was in my English class today "typing an essay" (looking for things to do to my car) and I came across some pictures of roof rails on some montes, I kinda liked the look of it, it was a subtle difference but just enough to make it pop out from the rest of the crowd, I own a 2006 LTZ and I was wondering if anyone on here has ever actually put these on the 7th generation models and has pictures of the car with them installed, it would be a great help thankyou!

I'm sure they would fit because there is no 7th generation Monte Carlo. Its the same body as the 6th generation. I don't know anyone who did it, but they will look great on an '06!

@JuniorCar - I think it's been a while since you have been on MCF lol. Even though the '00-'07 Monte per GM is a 6th gen Monte, the '06-'07 on MCF has been considered a 7th gen.
The reason for this is because the '06-'07 was more then GM's normal mid-gen re-styling. They removed the knight's crest from the Monte (again) and made significant drive train option changes, which include the introduction of a FWD v8 to the car.
It's an internal MCF term "7th gen" since there was never a generation to follow the 6th gen and the changes were a bit more drastic.

In retrospect, maybe it should have been called a 6.5 gen.

They will fit no problem, the roof line and doors and such went unchanged.

We do call it the 7th Gen just because there is no drivetrain that is the same from 00-05 and 06/07. This just makes it easier when talking about mods.

I know that many believe in the 7th gen theory, but I've never bought into it. It's an argument for the ages in Monte Carlo lore...
