Anyone else have problems with the rear portion of the rails wanting to lift and leave an 1/8th inch gap?

The first time I put them on I had that problem. The second time I put them on, I did it on a very hot day and physically bent the rails a little bit to fit the roof channel better.

Did you use a full bottle of epoxy in each channel? That's what i did but when i removed mine (due to loose rear-end) i noticed the epoxy only made contact with the rail in a few spots :/

I first tried with emblem adhesive tape, that failed. So that's when I ripped it all off and then I used this: Permatex 81173 | Liquid Gasketing & Silicone Sealants

I filled the channel up really well, bent the roof rails for a better fit, and made it so that the stuff actually overflowed when I put the roof rail in. Then I trimmed up all of the excess.

Makes it easy having a black car and black adhesive though
