7th Gen ('06-'07): Rear Wheel Drive build thread, It is happening..
The air filter is so large 12" long that the original location had to have a new re-routed brace for everything to fit properly. - Progress, and I couldn't be more excited about . A dream coming to fruition.
Just some thoughts I would like to pass along after noting some member comments. When one and only one exceptional technician is tasked with engineering and building a car - a very complicated car from scratch it simply takes months and years in planning and designing. Not one aspect of the car can be taken for granted and sometimes as frustrating as it may seem, one simply has to rework things too fit - consuming more time - something unavoidable at best. I am not weary because I know what the result is going to be no matter how long it takes. The cost of this build is enormous and. you have to be totally prepared financially to tackle a project like this or you would only be kidding yourself to think otherwise. I am sure I am one of this site's older members including mister (1951) - and my dream started decades ago probably years before some of our members were born, that dream still exists to day - and I am going to make it happen.
