Default Ram air hood

Just looking at ways to spend money on the monte this summer. I really love the look of the ram air hoods I see on this site. Does this hood bolt up to the stock hinges or is it a flimsy overpriced fiberglass piece?

the one from MPD has a steel lower frame so you get a better fit and finish and the hinge is metal to metal no flimsy fiber glass week point on the hinge or the hood latch . When i got my hood from them it came with new upper hinges (the upper 1/2 of the hinge )

love the quality and the fact that you can make the hood functional. I assume you have to mod your filter housing to accomodate. Does this come painted at request?

Since the top is fiberglassed you shouldn't get it painted before you have it on and test fitted and body work can be done.

As stated you have to get it painted at our body shop, best way to go...and yes some modifications have to be done to make it functional as a ram air hood with your intake.

If I get it painted at your shop does that mean that you will do all the necessary test fitting and trimming if necessary? What do you charge for the paint and the shipping to 13676.

I'm going to assume that was a typo and he meant "your" body shop
