The SS cars back in the day had the stripes end on the spoiler (if they had one), not the rear facia below the spoiler...

I'm thinking about doing mine in Silver and having them finish on the spoiler. I would have the stripes end just above the 3rd brake light and still retain the trimmed edge. Basically, just use the bottom trunk stripes on the spoiler...what do you guys think?
I spent weeks wrestling with that very question... At first I was going to do them to the spoiler, then after much research I decided to go OEM... Here's the real question, do the OEM stripes go to the bottom of the trunk lid or do they stop above the Monte Carlo Emblem... I stopped mine an inch above the Emblems... Love the look...

Here are mine and a stripe set to the bottom of the trunk lip... Granted one is a 6th Gen and the other a 7th Gen...

Lol... Yours was the pic I pulled off of Google...... I actually saved it for comparison during my research... They look good...... It seems that factory stripes were installed using both lengths...

Examples of stripes ending much higher than the current ss stripes...I am going to duplicate this trend if I do mine.

Mine are old school SS stripes which end at the spoiler, I prefer that look myself.

I emailed house of graphix for their strips and they said they could cut the sunroof strips for me as well for the roof, but itd be an additional cost.
