Default Putting 06-08 Tails on my 01

I want to put 06-08 tails on my 01 SS simply because they are beautiful and will look awesome being bright red across the back. I have read there is some small gap issue? I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of these on any 00-05's? Also if there was anything else I should know before I go through on these...

I used to have them on my 04 SS. No problem at with a gap. I have since switched to LEDS.

just an fyi, there was no 08 monte, they stopped in 07 =]

there is a part of the 06-07 tail light that is a little different but they were still easy to put on a 6th gen
