I wash my wheels with a high pressure washer at the car wash, they don't tear off at all. If you do the job right, it should stick on unless something hard scrapes it off.

 

A plasti dipped car huh lol almost like a rhino lined jeep.

 

i contacted the company befor last winter decuase i wanted to use it as basicially a shield for winter, it is clear coat safe for up to a year after that your risking the paint

 

there's been a lot of plastidipped cars, I like the matte finish, but I don't know how durable it would be on the exterior.

i have my center council painted with black plastidip and it's already starting to peel and I don't even drive the car that often.

 

I was actually kind of looked to do the matte finish on my car since I'm not driving in the U.S. any more and I wanted to clear up the blemishes, but I don't want to pay a fortune to get my car re-painted. Any suggestions or should I put up a poll?

 

I thought about doing this to my car just for fun.. My cars paint is aweful. And someone just hit me and scraped red on my bumper, so new paint is in need. They make it so you can spray it out of a gun and it would look better then a bunch of rattle cans

Check out my hood and wheel inserts 4 cans of plastidip.. wash almost daily, no worries! Holding up to the heat on the underside too and its been a month or so.

Turned out pretty even for just using the cans, no kit or different sprayer.
