Post Pinstripe

My monte came with just a plain double white pinstripe that runs the length of the car on both sides. very common. i was wondering, is there any way to remove this without sending the entire car to a paint shop? i want to get rid of this pinstripe and get one that outlines the sheetmetal lines on the front fenders/doors and rear quarterpanels.

Is the pinstripe tape ? if so you may try WD40 to soften the stripe up to remove..

nah, it's painted on, sadly. plus it's starting to fade out a little on the front fenders so it's not very attractive anymore either

You may try rubbing compound , just don't rub to hard in one spot..

If you know someone that details cars, it can be wet sanded and buffed off.
