okay i got some adhesive promoter, put that on, then accidently did the color right away lol so im waiting a bit then doing primer then gonna finish it out

in order to paint interior plastic parts with actual base/clear ... you need to clean them with a non static water-based cleaner first!!. best way to do this is by using a grey scuff pad and the cleaner and scrub to remove the natual oils in the plastic. next step is to use adhesion permoter and seal the plastic with a wet-on wet-sealer. then u can continue with paint

ideallally plastic interior trim panels should be dyed and not painted. unless you plan on removing all textureing and make the part smooth. when u put base and clear on anything textured it will look like ***..

so if you want to restore to original use a dye called SEM. u can inquire about it at auto parts store, autobody supply shops. the trim color for your car will be located on the same tag as your paint code.
