Painting headlights
Im wondering what preparation should be considered before removing the lens?
My plan as of now is:
200* @10min increments..
On cardboard,
With bulbs removed.
Am I missing anything? Is there any other disassembly required? The wires stay in the assembly?
I also want to ask if anyone knows if there is anywhere we can find replacement lenses? If im gonna take them off id like to replace them with new ones if possible.
Thanks.

Here is a little trick that I saw done and copied the idea.
I went to Ebay and purchased clear head light covers and then I painted the inside the design I wanted and it will never get marred cause it's on the inside.
Ebay is also a resource for headlights as well.

Anyone else have anything to add? Mainly concerned about the wires or who might sell replacement lenses..

Do you just pry the lenscover off? I don't want to destroy! Thanks

No, its sealed in there with some real tough glue.. Its a big BIG process of repeating the baking then prying.. Then you need to worry about sealing them back up.. Its honestly WAYYYYY more trouble than its worth.. Id spend the 80 bucks for the pair thats already black..
