Did you actually use paint for the wheels or plasti dip?

 

Had a painted engine cover, new supercharger build prevents me from using it:



The supercharger is painted, but I need to redo it.



Used the G2 paint kit for my calipers:

 

Chibi where did u find a procharger kit?! And nice painting. I just used engine enamel spray paint with etching primer:

I also woul like to know an answer to this.. That's got to be a ton of money.

 

When you guys painted your calipers did you take it off completely or left the brake line on? Also how did u guys clean it?

 

Look at my pictures... Left it on. U dont wanna disconnect your calipers and get air in the line. And you use brakekleen and sand it with some 320 grit. Use etching primer. Do a good masking job (like in my pictures above) and youll get awesome results. You can either use caliper spray paint or another high temp paint like engine enamel (what i used). Or like chibi did the brush on kit.

I've done tons of paint on my car. But just to stick with the basics, I've also done the brakes. And some under the hood.





Wheels? Been there done that too.
