Thank you all. silverbullitt - I love my cowl hood as well. I'll say that 6th gens have a nice hood that they don't make for 5th gens - that Camaro style scoop is just incredible on 6th gens.

KidSpace - I have dumped a lot of time & money into the Monte, and there is more money to be dumped into it! ;)

Jomao_o - The wheels I'm looking at aren't chrome (chrome's too heavy IMHO), but they are polished aluminum. As for the paint, it will either be repainted a gloss black or a metallic gloss black.

ChibiBlackSheep - Nope, no spoiler. I'd like to get a hump spoiler, but it looks fine to me right now.

I'll take some more pics once I wash the car. :)

The last pic actually reminds me of the front of like a 95 Mustang. Not that that's a bad thing.

Lookin' good as always :)

I've had that a couple times myself.

Looking at your mod list- doesn't a 3.4" seem a little big- especially considering the ported heads?

nitehawkjcb 04-01-2010 01:40 PM

Thanks, thanks. I'm just being cautious for now - I haven't even hooked up the blower yet, but I'm keeping the 3.4 for now, just to see how much KR I will have. I've always had knock issues with this motor, even after mods (ported blower, LIM), the KR didn't drop. The only thing I've had decrease the KR was 110 octane, and even then I had blips. Since that scan though, I've added a fuel pump, Plog and the heads - so I'm hoping my KR will dwindle. If it doesn't, then I'll get a stock GTP PCM and see what happens from there.

Just making sure the head gaskets cure correctly. Not only that, when I slow down sometimes the vacuum goes from ~20 in. hg to ~15, not sure what that is - but I'm looking into a possibly bad brake booster.

i like the kit.. cause its more smoothed and rounded and atually goes with the rest of the cars styling. good job

IMO, nothing looks worse when some1 sticks a huge , angled body kit on with all these vents and pointy edges on car that has smooth body line..

I.E this absolute piece of crap
