ok so i have a 04 dale jr mc ss. i like the 06 front ends alot better, i would like to change my current front end to the newer style but dont want to mess up the originality of the car so im stuck lol. i am keeping the orig front end so if i ever sell it or just want to go back to the old style i can put it back on. so i need the wisdom of my co-members . thanks

 

i think it would be alot easier to just buy a 7th gen. sounds like alot of work for something like that. specialy since you have a dale JR. just sell that and buy a newer one.

 

Just buy a front clip from a junk yard every thing bolts up, ull needa make adapters for the headlight bulbs though

 

i dont think it would look right on the jr edition.

if i were you i would put it up for sale or trade it off on an 06-07 ss.

How many miles are on it? do you have the COA and original window sticker for it?

 

well i jus got it a couple weeks ago. and its not paid for yet.this was in my price range. i love the car jus like the newer front ends lol. this wasnt gona be right away jus trying to decide what direction i wana go with it. it has 91k on it and i dont have the coa. gm wont reproduce them but i did call them to confirm its not a replica. i did some research to see if everything will line up, i think theres a thread on here about it. thanks for the input

if in the furture you can sell/trade it, then sell/trade it for 06/07 SS!
