Wink My partly shaved rear end

WOW someone actually had the guts to look with a title like that?!?! You are some sick twisted people... I feel like I'm with family!

Anyhow, I noticed the other day that the SS on the trunk looked as though someone was trying to pull it off so I decided to take the leap and remove the trim. I like the bowtie and it'll stay. I was surprised how easy it was to remove the plate, it had been sitting all day facing the sun while at work so I'm sure that helped. Was nervous at first after the removal cause I could see a ghost image even after removing all tape residue. But I did a quick clay bar session and I can't see where it used to be.

Now an idea about what to do with the emblem. Might just toss it but I'm thinking maybe... strut tower brace???:

Thoughts?

I'd leave it off completely- the engine bay is busy enough from the factory IMO.

I can't wait until I get to debadge the car.
Why can't you now?

Looks good. I'd probably also end up keeping the bowtie as well.

if the bowtie is flatter and better looking than that one then i would say keep it on. the plain lame looking red color just doesn't cut it imo.
it's like the red knight badge on the front i think that's so ugly...why does it have to be red? it remind me of a pimple. that's why i debadged mine and made a custom black/silver one.
