What kind of paint pen? I did mine with a Testors paint pen. It is enamel paint and should last a long time. That cover really doesn't get all that hot I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Okay, looks clean enough, not to flashy, You need something else with it, just looks to factory, even though it's not. You know what I mean, something tasteful perhaps based on your Monte's theme.
