You can get to the hinges by taking off the drivers side fender and inner fender well(tire well), and hood. You can take the inner fender well out by removing all of the screws that are on the outside edge of the tire well and 2 or 3 on the inside.(Obviously take the tire off first) There are 2 bolts that connect the fender to the front bumper cover, and there are 5 bolts that connect the fender to the frame on the top. there is a bracket about a foot into the fender from behind the headlight, there is one bolt there, there is another bolt holding on to this carpet like piece and also to the frame between the fender and the door. Once all of those are off, you will need to unscrew these 2 bolts that are located right under the car. there is a long piece of body(unsure of the exact name) that runs under the door(from wheel to wheel), that piece is clipped on right where these bolts are. You will need to unclip it. When those bolts are out, you will need to play with that clip(needle nose pliers) in order for it to let go of the fender. Once the fender is off, you have full access to the hinges. It's a pretty time consuming task for just checking on the hinges(depending on whats wrong at least). If it needs to be done, it needs to be done. Hope that helps!
