Stop whining about your paint issues, the clear coat is freaking pealing and has pealed off of my bumpers pretty dramatically.

Stumpmi, the car looks amazing. Debadged, new spoiler, no stripes. I like it a lot. One of my favorite 5th gens.

Thanks! Crusader!
I gotta be honest... I too was thinking of possibly doing Rally stripes also, But once I saw it like this... To me this isn't the body style for rally stripes.. (IMO).... But I'm definitely likeing it! and your opinion means a lot!!!

You've got a very good eye my friend.. As a matter of fact I pretty much debadged it completely... with the exception of the Blacked out words... Monte Carlo Z-34 .... on the back panel of the Trunk...

I did make 1 addition..
Removed that Red/orange black out lined Bowtie and traded it for the Black and Chrome trimmed one.
What did you mean by door stripes?
The graphics? or the door mouldings? Whoops there now gone to Ahahahaha...
Thanks for the A+++ Despite the 5th Gens.. Non Body line styleing...to me its like a rolling hotdog on wheels kinda style...hehehehe

Thanks Dub!

You guys have truly inspired me to reserect it to this point. I do have other things that I plan to inhance it a weee bit more... Nothing drastic..

As I'm sure you know, Less can be more.
Thus the elimination of Graphix.. Door Moulding Trim... Kinda smoothed it out in my opinion. I think its a very nice look for a 5th Gen..
Thanks Again!

Keane...
To be quite honest..

My stepson originally offered to wheel it out... The good thing about it... Our factory paint has enough clearcote on it that you can safely wheel it out, thus removing all the blemishs, swirl marks, and take the finish right down to smooth again.... It will take someone knowing how to do it correctly... With the right steps of clay barring as well as cutting compounds ..That's also done in stages.. Once that's accomplished followed by a good polishing and followed buy a quality wax.. should last you a long time!
I do know theres a cpl people/Members here that know what there doing...
Maybe if possible... Look one of them up in your area and bring it back to original color and sheen!

Just a little FYI...
The whole front clip is all original paint on mine... I didn't have the whole car painted.

Swirls are the least of my concern, the entire front end is very speckled and chipped up. Would have to be totally redone.

I would then consider having a trusted body shop repaint it for you! I don't have those kind of Talents... Thus my need to have a reputable body shop take care of it for me.

I'm going to be honest...

You saw in the pics all the work the body shop did on mine... and the end result... It only cost me a total of $1000,00.

It sounds like they really wouldnt have a hard time fixing your front end...
At a shop that's skilled enough to do it correctly... Probably for a lot less then I payed. Something to consider....
Then have someone..unless you can do it yourself... finishing it off and completeing the look!
Thanks again for the compliment... It means a lot!

I got a quote at a trusted body shop, was $1800 to do the front end.
