I'm debating on whether or not to get regular lug nuts and do away with my plastic capped ones. I want to keep certain things totally stock though, and that's the way it came from the factory. My 05 with chrome rims came with polished lug nuts (or replaced with them by the time I bought the car used). And they look good.

 

IMO i dont like the plastic caps. But its all up to what you think looks best on your MC

 

Well mine didn't come with the caps at all. Unless the owner before got rid of them but I doubt. My monte has several things that other montes dont seem to have for some reason. Here are what the things looked like right after I did them
