Lets talk about paints
I just got done with the body work , and now I need a paint job diffrent ppl tell me to go with DIA($343 for black metallic) or NAS($121). My question is for those who got more experience , what is the different?

If that NAS stands for Nason paint, it is a cheaper brand and I have painted several with it. The shine just doesnt last as long. We also used that brand of clear. Nothing a semi annual buff wont cure. Paint is just way expensive these days.

I didnt have any problems with it, I was just saying it didnt hold the shine as well. I bought paint for my truck off ebay, actually 2 gallons of enamel and all reducers and hardners needed. $139. Painted it in October and still shines good after going thru the winter. Seller was a place called Primco in Kentucky. Bought two gallons for the reason of two toning it.

as I'm reading this it seems you have a tight budget. My advice is to just save up a few more dollars for the Dupont and get it right the first time. One thing I learn over the years is dont pay for something twice. In the end you will have spent double of what you couldn't afford the first time around doing just enough to get by until you'll able to afford it.
