In comparassion to a factory style bulb, how would a 15k (purple) hid compare in terms of light output?

I've been liking the purple look, but if I can't see then it's just extra attention.

 

I'd say at that level of Kelvins you're going to be cutting the output drastically. I mean, it should be a little better than stock bulbs, but not by much.
