Default Ipcw tail light hyperflash fix????

I purchased the ipcw tail lights. They have the hyper flashing issue that some cars seem to get. They sent me the resistors to fix the problem, but the directions are not very specific. Anyone know exactly which wires are supposed to be spliced into for this fix? I believe it is the power source and the turn signal wire on each side, but they are different colors from right side to left. Would really appreciate anyone who went through this problem if you could tell me how you fixed it or what color wires you tapped into on each side. Car has been sitting for two weeks trying to figure this out! Thank you in advance!

Did you ever get this issue resolved? I have the same issue now and am searching for the fix!

I bought the red LED tail lights from CarID, and did not need the resitors. I have a 2004 Monte. I wonder why some need the resistor and some don't?
Everything worked fine on mine I sent the resitors back

That's odd...on mine the resistors are wired into the circuit on the back of the light. Literally plug-n-play and no hyper flash.

I wonder if they have a different part number for 00-05 and 06-07

And if they interchange that, if this is what happens?

You just have to put the resistor across the positive and negative. Use a wire tap.

Any chance you could tell me what ohm resistor I should be using?

You could use these ones to get rid of hyperflash. Here is the link.
