how are you guys tinting your headlights and breaks?

Default how are you guys tinting your headlights and breaks?

well? is that just standard plastic tint from autozone or what? how do you get it around the edges?

Well I used actual automotive paints and clear coat. But others ,90% of the people here, have used DIY products like VHT and rattle can clear coat. I have my personal choice because I'm a painter and prefer and look. VHT if done correctly can look pretty good though. Remove the tail lights form the car and sand, clean spray tint on, clear coat, dry, install, and stand back with a beer and enjoy the look. I wouldn't tint headlights but thats just me. But its the same basic process I just said.

yeah ive only seen a couple headlights. i dont know if ima do it but if i do tint my windows, its probobly going to be a must :P was just curiouse how it was being done, i thought they were doing it with the vinal sheets lol dohXD

Niteshade is another option...but like posted above automotive paint and clear is the best way to go.

I don't think I've seen to many tinit or paint there headlights, I think most like me have headlight covers that can go on and come off at any time.

Also please take note when tinting tail lights. In most states if you get hit from behind it is the person in the back who is responsible, However if you tint your tails the person can say your car was illegally modified and they could not see your brake lights cause of the tint, and you may not be able to get money out of them to fix your car, or even worse could be your fault from the get go...

Just something to think about.

mine are Vht I had I guy in Id. do all 3 of them for $75 they look great
(the orange is no longer on the spoiler )
