What kind of kit did you get? Is it plastic or fiberglass?

My advice would be to go over the whole cover and sand/fix any spots that arent perfect. Being fiberglass it wont be completely smooth. Im assuming there is primer or gel coat on the pieces. You will want to sand them down smooth with some 320 grit paper. Its a good idea to use some 2k primer surfacer. Once the surfacer is dry you need to sand it down with some 400 then 600 grit. I would do 220 grit dry to cut the orange peel and then 400 wet to take the 220 scratches out. Finish it off with 600 grit. From there you can seal it but its not necessary. Then base/clear to finish it off.

You just need to find the paint code for your car and use the same color so it matches.

you can find the code on the inside of the trunk lid. IIRC it will say BC/CC then the code.

Glad to see you finally made it over, is it bumpers or extensions? If extensions id fill all the imperfections prime paint and a few good layers of clear and you should be good.
