Default Update

Well i have contacted the company, here is what i found out... The hood DOES NOT have functional ram air. The hood/car DOES require modification and IS NOT a bolt on. They said shipping to florida would be $150.
Here is another angle of the hood from the manufacturer.

Im still awaiting additional pictures from customblvd.com
I asked for pics of the hood latch and hinge areas.

Ill keep you all posted...

The hood is non-functional and since it is 100% fiber glass the thing is going to be so warped when you get it, just to make it fit is going to take a lot of work.

Man if it's not bolt on I hope you can do this type of work yourself caues you could pay mega to get it fit right. Hosetly if it's not functional I dont see the point but to each their own if you want it get it.

That is the exact hood I have where did you find it?

It isn't functional, which doesn't bother me as I have a FWI. However it's complete fiberglass so it isn't the sturdiest. I found where I got it from the other day after finally finding the receipt. I got mine from www.bodykitnation.com.

I like the look of the hood, however $426.00 Shipping & non-functional Ram Air, pass...

PacerSS, Pics? How hard was the install? Modifications?
I just love the pig snout style off the ws6 trans am.

But if the fiberglass construction and mod work are going to be a pain in the a$$ then i might go with this hood

Dont have many pics. The photo shoot pics aren't complete I have a couple though. Install wasn't bad. They had to create holes and countersinks for the bolts from the hood supports to work. Other than that it was pretty straight forward. Oh and the bumpers don't reach the cups all the way so I have to stick a shop rag on top of them when I drive around or the hood will rattle up and down. Aside from that and the slight warpage I love it.
