just finished mounting high sport ground effects to my 02 ss, now I need exhaust extensions (tiPs) and I will take some pics. This was time consuming and rough. has anyone else done this? any before and after pics? did you go broke on the mounting clips like me?

 

i havent seen a whole ton of people doing this but i want to, how difficult was it? did you have to cut into the stock bumper?

 

yes i had to cUt slots into front and rear bumpers. i couldn't see how any other mounting method would work, and hold up during driving. unless u gUYs n gals know of any ... it SUCKED! Start to finish.

 

btw, the sides were easy to put on, just clips and no cutting.

 

Nope, that is the ONLY way to separate the front and rear lips (cut, I believe 13 little slots) - which is partially what deterred me from doing it. That and the grounds from GM are about 1,500.
