hids in factory fog housing

Default hids in factory fog housing
just wondering if i can put hids in the factory housings and not have a problem with them melting or do i have to get the housings from the Malibu which are glass and not plastic. Let me know because i am wanting to do this asap.

aren't malibu fogs plastic too?
im almost positive they are lol

You will be fine as long as you get 35W. There was a thread about this a couple weeks ago.

Get 35W (I have 35W) and they won't get hot enough to melt anything.

Iv'e been running 35w HID for about a year in both fog/headlamp without any problems. You should be good.

lol seems everyone asks this at some point ive got 10k 35w & all is well had em for almost 2yrs now
