since i have an 04 what bulb would i put in as my daylight running lights? because as far as i know my highs and daylights are coming from the same bulb. maybe im wrong?

05 was the first year for low beam drls

Here's mine running the SilverStars. It's a little hard to tell in these pictures how much whiter and brighter these are compared to standard halogens, but you can see the difference in color between the low beams and fogs (fogs are the standard halogens). After going to SilverStars, I can't stand standard halogens anymore.

 

Your high beams; also your DRL lights are 9005. Any 9005 bulb will and should fit, HID or not.

You can, I've ran without them for a month or two for the look. You just pull your DRL relay in the fuse block under your hood by the resevoir tank and it won't turn on. Your high beams will still work but you'll just throw a headlight, light in your dash lol

 

Mine are 10k. When I install my fog lights, im going to put 10k in those to.
