Well i wont have time to do anything untill next week... long hours in the office this week and going skiing in the rockies this week-end...

I'm gonna start by attempting to seperate the passengers side and get both done

Also, why is that the highbeams never seem to be actual projector lens? could one use a pair and just angle them slightly higher?

 

It is a chore to open our headlights and work on them.

If you want to try to tackle a task like that you can go ahead, but I promise you it won't be easy lol

 

Well, im half way there , one opened up on its own.. so i figured why not? we have two cars/work together, so my car can sit there for a week or two... not sure how thrilled she'll be when she fines i plan on using her oven (yes i say hers because i dont cook what so ever) for the headlights

 

just make sure to lay down aluminum foil over everything, if plastic melts and hardens again you won't be easily getting it off lol

 

Meh I bake tons of stuff in the oven, rc tires, headlights. Remember there is no point trying to save the rubber moulding around the outside if you bake them.

 

that rubber isnt actually require though is it? and can yuo buy replacements?

 

Its not required, I took most of mine off on my new headlights.
