look good, but i don't know about painting them red. red paint is probably one of the worst color to keep clean. since the jr is already red and you have chrome wheel i would try darker color. black caliper/silver bracket would look good or vice versa. powder coating would be be other option and easy clean up. so how you going to mount bracket? drill/tap or using sleeve?

RED is a great color i think but you are right it does get dirty alot i painted my stock calipers red BUT if you are a clean freak like me i take my tires of about 4 times a month and clean calipers and rims and alot that LOL but iam thinking about DRILLING AND TAPPING WHAT U THINK

i would do the drill/tap method. here's how.

drill out the original bracket thread with 12.0mm bit
tap out using 14mm x 2.0 tap

parts you need:

since you have both the C5 calipers and brackets you have to use C5 brake pads. on mine i have C5 calipers and Fbody brackets i was able to use Fbody pads. the C5 pads will work but need to grind down little bit cuz the pads on the C5 is is little bigger.

banjo bolts and crushed copper washers C5 and fbody are same

rattle shims, it's a metal clip that fit in the middle of the calipers that keep brake pads from moving. i'm sure you saw it when you done your father's vette brakes. must be off a C5.

longer front brake line. zzp sell them. stock line will work too. i'm using stock line right now. the brake line brackets need to be bend and adjust if you using stock line since it's shorter.

hopefully this help.
