It's called a Splitter, you'd have to custom make it

A member here on the forum already has a chin splitter on her car. I want one too, it really gives her car a exceptional appearance imo.

Montelicious is the members user name, look her car over. It's a real beauty.

A splitter on a street vehicle (with the exception of some exotic and sports cars) is more of an aesthetics mod then a performance mod. Yes, it will split the high flow pressure under the vehicle (and offer minimal downward force at high speeds), but without a rear splitter to create a low pressure area behind the vehicle you are creating turbulence behind the vehicle which will actually slow you down. The front splitter can also slow you down if the angle isn't proper. To install splitters on a street driven vehicle and actually see an improvement in performance you would need extensive knowledge of aerodynamics and a facility for testing. Besides, it is doubtful that many members drive their vehicles fast enough on a consistent basis to actually utilize a splitter.

He might just want the look. Or he might have that knowledge to do this.

I agree that he may be doing it for more of the aesthetics appeal, but unless he has access to some pretty sophisticated programs and a wind tunnel the odds are in favor of him actually slowing his car down and reducing mpg. I am interested in how it turns out as far as the look though.
