Default front rubber piece under bumper

i have a 2001 ss, in my crappy town all the drive ways and entrances/exits to any business have bumps or slight inclines that when i go over it sounds like the bumper is scraping but its actually this rubber thing that i believe is used to direct air into the intake. finally one day i get down and look at it and one side is broken and is sagging lower, i was wondering does anyone know the part number for this?

I know exactly what you mean... I'm wondering if it's an issue just taking it off... I think it actually would look better...

I do know it's called an "Air damn" go to the dealership and they can tell you a part number. Mine was not put back on by the 1st guys who Turbocharged my car and I found the motor getting hotter than usual. Went to the dealership and they told me I needed this to as you described to capture air and force it up into the radiator cavity, thus helping the cooling. I would keep it and get a new one if needed. Nice Monte!!

Definitely keep it on, like said above your car will get warmer without it, since we don't have much of a grill on the front of the car, most of the air is deflected from that piece.
