Hey yall! I have an 06 Monte SS...I'm currently looking to change the front chevy badge and instead place an "SS" there. Is there any place I can find spare SS badges that are the same as the ones on the side/back of the car? And if/when I do find these badges, how would I go about replacing the SS with the chevy badge?

www.ebay.com
Or go down to your local Chevrolet dealer.
You'll need to buy the bigger ones that are on your doors and pry off the gold bowtie on the front, I believe there will also be a small plastic piece that can be snipped off with shears and then simply stick the new SS emblem where the bowtie came off of.
It'll look like this.

Isnt the grill in the shape of the bowtie, and the emblem just sticks into it? Thats how mine is...So if you took the emblem out, you would still have the bowtie shape...?
I know you can buy chevy bowtie emblems with SS written in the center of the bowtie.
I've bought from these guys for center cap overlays http://www.webxtremes.com/index.htm
And this is where i've scene the front bowtie/ SS badge:

Hope this helps!

Yep, what he said. I've done it to mine and it looks fine even though you can still see the shape of the bowtie.

reflectiveconcepts.com has a lot more items then what you see on the site, or he can/will create custom items. e-mail Matt and tell him what your looking for, he's usually very quick at responding to e-mails.
