I was looking for a font file to use on my vinyl designs that represented the 5th gen MC nameplate font. I came across the attached file and figured I'd share it in case anyone else can benefit from it. It looks like the "R" was different, but I also posted an image of "MONTE CARLO" in that font, with the actually nameplate, so you can determine if it's for you or not. Hope it helps.

 

Actually very close, you have a sharp eye. Nice find, cool you took the time to do the write up about your find. I have been a font person when it comes to the correct generation Monte. I see 6th / 7th gens using the 5th gen font across their windshield and that always struck me as a detail that was out of place as they differ significantly. You get the Gold Star for the week! No problem ZIPPY02! I've been looking all around for the font or one similar for some time now. Even thought abought just creating it, but then found this font. I removed my nameplates on the sides, then put one set on my rear light panel, replacing the bow tie. Just recently decided to make new labels for the sides but using vinyl to allow adding the car title underneath it. Thought about using the old script font, but went with this one. Instead of the font, as a nod to the classics, I'm designing a hood decal of the MC knight and crest with a slight change. The knight helmet will be a Spartan helmet on a Punisher skull to incorporate it into my theme. Crossing my fingers it comes out good! 🤞

Now that my friend will be sic to see. That is a brilliant idea Spartan helmet with Punisher skull, match made in hell! I will be your 1st copy cat, could fit right in with my "Devils Guard" Monte. So you mention a theme for your Monte. Care to leak some of it out? A teaser with what you are doing. What color is your Monte, Black? Trying to envision a Punisher Monte. Endless possibilities, Wild to mild.

 

Yeah man I don't have any problem sharing what I've done. Hell, if someone can get some ideas for there's, then awesome! Well, it's a 3.1...for now. Having to replace the head gasket this weekend, has made an engine swap timeline move up. In the mean time, I got it stock a couple years ago with only 70k original miles. The color is Medium Garnet (Wine/Maroon). I kept the original paint and blacked out the rest. Although, I've made changes periodically, here's wat I've done. I'll put a couple pics up, but since I do my own vinyl graphics, I recently removed them all to put new ones on I designed.

ExteriorI Replaced the stock 15" steel alloys with resurfaced and blacked out 17" aluminums from my old '15 Impala. Redesigned the bowtie center caps to incorporate a Punisher skull of the same MC paint. Removed the badging all around. Designed a Punisher skull out of perforated steel to replace the front end bowtie. Took one of the side nameplates painted it the same as the car and centered it on the black trunk panel Replaced the front end bowtie with a Punisher skull I designed from perforated steel. Recently, I added hood lifts and vents for added cooling.

InteriorI haven't finished it all, but I have reupholstered some of the interior. New black faux leather headliner and rear window panel. Interior panels got matte black. The grey and wood grain door panels are now a matte black/grey and white with industrial black carpeting where needed. Door panels have "Punisher" near the interior door handles and a large Punisher skull near the hinges, visual when door is open.

Other than your standard cold air intake performance exhaust, cherry bomb glasspack and a few other tweaks, I haven't done much in regards to the engine, since I'd like to swap it. Definitely not looking forward to the head gasket replacement but it is cheaper than an engine swap for now.
