6th Gen ('00-'05): Flat Black Plasti Dip Entire Car w/ Red Rims!
I grew up in the late 50's. So that look is what I remember about the Hot Rod's in my day. My buddys brother had a 50 Merc all like that. When this stuff 1st started to come back a few yrs ago. I said that looks like &^%$. I need some Chrome on my car's & Bikes. But again it came back to bite me in the ***! I'm starting to like it on some things! Not everything looks good that way. I seen a older caddy like that & it looked awesome. The picture here looks GOOD also. But it got to be done right to look good. I like the red rims on his car
. That's my story and I'm stickin to it !
I think it looks pretty good, the wheels are a bit much for me but to each their own. I was thinking of Plasti Dip-ing my car matte white but haven't decided on it yet. I think it would look good with my black wheels/blacked badges/ and tint but I agree with Rick 2006 SS and that it doesn't always look good on all cars. passed a Honda the other day on highway with flat black and looked horrible, but I guess everybody has their own opinions.

If your new to plasti dip I'd practice spraying the white first. It is a very hard color to get good smooth coverage, I used it on my rims as a base coat for the blaze yellow and it was very difficult. I had 3 coats on and still had my original rim color showing through. As for black, very simple and easy to spray no problem.
