Default Finished my Wheels :)

Just a picture of my Wheels AFTER painting the inserts BLACK, Im REAL happy with the way they loook. I was going to buy then like that, but had a bit of time and BAM ! got em Done..... MJ

PS, thats a ton of Masking

Nice! What kind of paint did you use and what did you do to prep them? Did you clear coat also? Spray gun or can?

Looks great, if you really want to finish it off get black center caps.

Thanks everyone..... he paint I used was Duplicolor, Black primer (3 coats) then as close to the the Factory Black color of the car I could find (heat resistant) (3 coats) and finished it off with 3 coats of clear coat... its not gonna go anywhere Prep (Cleaned them VERY VERY well and made sure NO wax was left on them at all , (a little alcohol and tacting) lightly wet sanded the places twas the ONLY bs part of the job. o be painted, then wiped it with prep, tact cloth, and a wet floor after the masking tape) Masking off everything is a time KILLER, but well welll worth the time... Like Night n Day. thanks again.... Today I did my COLD air Intake...(and made a new box for the computer) . But see the picture of how Differant the wheels look, NIGHT n DAY diff, you really dont notice until they are side by side on how much better the wheel looks WITH the Black... JMHO...
