So earlier tonight I was hanging out with my friend at home and I was eating when my dad yelled for me to come to him. I was kinda mad at first b/c..well, I was eating, you know, America's favorite past time when he shows me a link under the auto parts section of Craigslist posting an ad for a Monte Carlo Nascar spoiler for 50 bucks. At first I was like "No Way" b/c I am a frequent auto parts browerser under Craigslist and I NEVER find anything for Montes and for my dad to randomly find this I was like "......." so I emailed the guy at around 10:00(ish) and by 11:15 he called me saying he still had it and he bought it for his wife to switch out b/c he thought it would be cool but she didnt want to b/c she liked the surf board one better :p. So I showed up around 11:45 tonight lol and paid him 50 for it and hopefully I'll get it painted and striped before I go to the car show coming up in Myrtle Beach. I'll keep you guys up-to-date on the install I'm giggling like a little school girl lol

Man, it looks/sounds great bro. All thanks to you and you're help. We got to the guys house and my dad even paid for it lol. He said consider it a gift but I'm going to work with him on Thurs. you watch, when it comes time to pay he's going to be like "Remember the spoiler I bought you" lol, I don't care though, the spoiler is equally good to me

I've been looking for the newer stand-up spoilers since my dad purchased his 06 SS (3 years ago!!)

Thanks guys. I called a Chevrolet dealership not far from me and they said they can paint it for me for $70. I figured it would be way more than that and then I need to have it striped over and that's gonna run me another $30. So all in all, it's only costed me $150 for spoiler, paint, and stripes as compared to a primered one from Chevy for $500.00. This is why we all love the internet

So I took my spoiler in to a local vody shop and they are painting it now, hopefully I'll have installed by tmrw morning and if they vinyl shop is open on Sun. then I'll stripe it then
