I went with paint on mine. You can see them about halfway down this page;

It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. There is a mold line already on the headlight housing that you follow with tape. The rest is standard painting procedures.

IIRC she just got pieces of vinyl or something similar from a hobby store and cut them to fit

Yeah I was drugged up bcuz of my recent surgery so I randomly decided to do them one day while the family was gone lol I just went to Hobby Lobby & bought a big roll of matte black vinyl. It took a while to get it sized right the first time. I've been wanting to paint them on but the vinyl sped up the headlight cracking process sooo now I gotta be prepared to fix/cover all of that up whenever I decide to paint them. I may make them angle a bit differently or make them a bit deeper the next time I do them. I've been trying to get my HIDs before to make sure that it doesn't obstruct the light output too much.

Does anyone know where I could get some burgundy/maroon vinyl? I want to do eyelids for my car, but can't seem to find any vinyl to do it with!

Thanks for anything!

Tyler check ebay or a crafts shop, it may be hard to get a good match at first
