Default Engine cover

Thought i would add some pics of my engine cover on here in the works. Just finished first set of paint for now.
Started with a grey filler primer to smooth it out, painted it silver then added a few coats of stainless steel flake to it. I like this stuff because before you clear it you can brush off the flakes and or add more. I like it so far going to hand paint the raised lettering soon. just not sure of a color yet.

nice!! looks great! that silver looks really good.

hmm for the letters.. i say black on the horizontal lines and 3800 Series II and then Red Supercharged!

P.S. they make stickers to adhere to the engine cover if you dont want to paint!
Supercharged Engine Cover Overlay Decals

^No idea how well they work or anything like that. im sure someone here knows!^

Looking good so far! I recommend the overlays from Reflective Concepts. I got a set for my engine cover and they fit perfect!

Should look awesome once you pick a color for the words/lines

That paint looks great. I agree with painting the letters red or getting the overlays. It will look fantastic Post pics when it's installed!
