Default Door Sill Cover? $140?!

I was looking for some Monte Carlo door sill covers. I came across these but wow:

http://www.pfyc.com/pc/MC2004/MCINT/...ll+Covers.html

Does anyone know of any other Monte Carlo sill covers? I would like black ones. I guess I really dont even care if it says "Monte Carlo" on it but would like that better. I dont get why these are $140 that seems pretty crazy to me but I guess if you are the only one who has a product people will pay.

I know this is not a new topic but I just wanted to see if anyone has come up with anything new since the other threads.

Unless mine is worn off my sill does not even say "Monte Carlo" WTF lol. I just want something there to dress it up a little and for protection.

Would these work on my '02?

I still dont wanna pay $97 plus shipping but looks like its either that or $140

im sure those would work. you see how in the pic, you can see monte carlo, thats how mine are. the door sill is where you see the chevy symbol. i dont think anyone has that. you could get any kind of sill that would work and look good.

Looks like they would work I would assume the sill size on the 2006+ is the same as the 2000-2005 montes.

i made my door sills out of some extra stainless i found laying around at work. they serve more for looks than function but i like them. the part that took me the longest was buffing them up with a red scotchbrite pad for a brushed look. then a little 3M double sided tape and they were on. this particular pic isn't the greatest since they're a little dirty right now, but you get the idea.

Join the club. Things like that are going to be over priced, you'll find a lot of LITTLE things that would accent the car aren't the cheapest.

I have a list of all the things I wanna do, it all costs crazy money lol, but I'm at the point where I don't care I'll save up for it if I really want it. Just gotta get the performance down first before I start spending $100s on some minor interior mods.
