Did all 2006 Monte Carlos have...
A car has to be specifically engineered to use ethanol in its engine, too; not every car can use it. If you try to put E85 in a car that wasn't designed for it, it will gradually ruin your engine.
You guys and your N/A cars whining about mileage haha. You realized on a boosted car if you run e85 it can make a pretty darn big difference. Most is rated at 105 Octane, and it is supposed to have a good cooling effect.
I don't know anything about turboed or supercharged engines; I've never had one. All I know about ethanol is what I've read, and it's not positive, despite what the government would like us to believe. You need to use more of it to get the same combustion as regular (87 octane) gasoline, so your mileage suffers. How is poor gas mileage a good thing? (especially with gas over $4/gallon these days)
it's a higher octane fuel which means better performance, even you for guys that are N/A.
The difference between mileage swapping to E85 still saves you money if you're not on the gas all the time.
